Ever since I can remember, I knew that I wanted to find a career that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me on the journey to complete my Masters of Counselling. As a Registered Provisional Psychologist I feel that it is an absolute honour to sit with clients and hold space while their healing process unfolds.
Throughout my journey I have worked with teens and adults who have experienced significant trauma in their lives, including sexual violence, intergenerational trauma, and childhood abuse. I also provide support around anxiety, depression, difficult emotions, stress, and relationship challenges.
As a therapist I am collaborative, genuine, and gentle. My work is centered around my training in Hakomi, a mindfulness-based somatic therapy. My other therapeutic orientations include trauma-focused therapy, attachment work, ACT, and ecotherapy.
