What is Hakomi: Mindfulness Based Somatic Therapy?
Hakomi is a therapy method that involves short practices done in a state of mindfulness to help us explore our deeply held beliefs and understand our patterns of behaviour. It's an experiential body-centered therapy that explores our inner states and mind-body holism by:
establishing a relationship where it is safe for the client to become self-aware
Using Hakomi methods to evoke experiences that lead to the discovery of core material
To seek healing changes in the core material and integrate into every day life

Is there parking near the office?
Our office is located at:
Suite #204b, 10544 106 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5H 2X6
Second floor of the Bassani Building (one block North of Grant MacEwan)
There is limited meter parking available in front of the office for $1/hour. If you wish to take transit there are many options available. As the LRT stops just blocks from our office at the MacEwan station.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Absolutely! I believe that everyone should have access to mental health supports, and if cost is a barrier for you please reach out to me and we can discuss your options.
Therapy during COVID-19?
During the global pandemic therapy remains accessible through telehealth, including secure phone or video sessions, and in-person sessions following all Alberta health guidelines.
