What is Mindfulness Based Somatic Therapy (Hakomi)?
Hakomi is a therapy method that involves short practices done in a state of mindfulness to help us explore our deeply held beliefs and understand our patterns of behaviour. It's an experiential body-centered therapy that explores our inner states and mind-body holism by:
establishing a relationship where it is safe for the client to become self-aware
Using Hakomi methods to evoke experiences that lead to the discovery of core material
To seek healing changes in the core material and integrate into every day life
